A Greet involves a local person who volunteers their time to walk and share their love of Milan with you. In contrast to an official city tour guide, Greeters show you the city from a local perspective, focusing on the little things that make Milan home: a neighbourhood, a street corner, a local bakery. Are you ready to find out about personal stories, anecdotes and places tourists usually do not see?

Volunteers
Greeters are volunteers, a friendly face and contact for those visiting a destination.

Small Groups
Greeters welcome individuals or small groups of up to six friends. The dialogue between Greeter and guest is our focus.
My daughters and I loved it. It was very hot that day, but our guide adapted to our pace.
Thank you Lorenzo for a great time!

Thanks to our guide Dino, who organised a wonderful tour of Milan for us. It was a very rewarding afternoon that allowed us to discover all the secrets of the city and even the best cold coffee in Milan!
Our greeter for this trip to Milan was Roberto, a very kind gentleman who was very attentive to helping us plan the route of our encounters from before we were to come to Milan. As a local resident, Roberto guided us through many niche landscapes that tourists can't enjoy, told the stories behind the buildings, introduced many places he felt were worth seeing, and even when we left Milan to go to other cities, he was also very enthusiastic about sharing his experience with us. Lorenzo, my Milanese Greeter, took me to see some of Milan's hidden gems that only a local who loves their city would know. Like other receptionists I have toured with, he has an in-depth knowledge of the city, an engaging manner and a passion for sharing his city. Our walking tour was so much fun that I booked another one with him!
